One Year Old!!

Look at me! I'm one! He looked very sporty in his basketball shorts and jersey.

Will with Grandpa. His eyes were fixed on the cake.

It's a tractor. I know, looks more like a monster truck.
(I vowed to never make a birthday cake again after this baby. It took FOREVER.)

Blowing out the candle.

"Finally, I get my first bite of solid sugar!"

"Pretty good, pretty good."

Grandpa: "You gotta try this ice cream Will. It helps to wash down the cake."

Seriously, he couldn't get enough.
Fist-fulls worked the best.

Present time!!
Cool! A fishing pole for the bath tub! Thanks Grandma Newbold!

Dad got him a football, of course.

"Jaw-some" tee from Grandma M.

He loved these sweet shades from Lisa and Steph.

Peek-a-boo!!

Will's first run through the sprinklers

D-Day...that's Dad's Day!

Blair started out his first Father's Day as a anyreal father
would: chocolate pudding for breakfast. What would his mother say?

"Oooh! My favorite candy bar! What's in the sack?"

His favorite gift: New waders for fly fishing.

What a man.

New flies, to compliment the waders of course.

Great smiles, like father, like son.
"I want to go fishing, not to church!"

Little Helper...

I think this stands alone.

Memorial Day Weekend

Will LOVED the log swing out in the backyard. The first time I put him on a swing he cried and cried, but now he loves it! He just laughed and took really deep breaths the whole time, it was hilarious.

The mighty Blair, spent most of the day working on "projects".
He loved using the stone cutting equipment to help Grandpa fix up the
fireplace on the back patio.

Grandpa taking a spin.

Will's "I don't like sauerkraut on my hot dog" face.

"Peace!"

I tried to get him to wear his hat, but I had to
hold his hands so he wouldn't rip it off.

First Zoo Trip

Last week Will and I went to the zoo with my friend Brynna and her son Camden. Will seemed to enjoy himself as long as 1-He was moving or 2-the animals were moving. If I stopped pushing his stroller to look at something, he wouldn't have it! If there were sleeping animals, or even animals that were just holding still, it was like he was totally unimpressed. Oh well, he did get really excited in the monkey cages when they would run around and swing from the trees.
Will and Camden looking around at the elephants.

Baby Will and a baby elephant!

Will looking at the penguins.

He did like the giraffes. They moved around a lot.
The zoo is good, but cheerios....these are GREAT!
