Snow Day!!

Last night we had a HUGE snow storm and just got dumped on!
I hate cold weather and snow, but I couldn't resist Will's
little face as he pointed out the window and said, "Snow?"
So, we went outside and played.

Friends: Camden, Emily and Will in front of a giant
snowman that Emily's Dad built.

Will helped pat it.

Camden's snow angel.

Woohoo! Let's go for it!

Yes, Will wore his P.J.'s, sneakers and coat.
I am probably going to be up for Mother of the Year.

My Name!!!

Will just discovered he has a name and he can say it! It's pretty cute.

It's Groundhog Day...Again

Once again, Feb. 2nd has come and gone. My favorite holiday, Groundhog Day, was blissfully celebrated this year at our home. It was indeed blissful because this year the Groundhog did NOT see his shadow. This is amazing because in the past, it has seen it's shadow 98 times and not seen it only 16 times. That was cause for celebration. Early Spring! Woo woo!
Everyone is holding their Groundhog place mats and making their best Groundhog face.

On the menu: Groundhog stew. Not really, it was pork chops and
potato flapjacks. Stephanie brought some awesome Pennsylvania Punch
and Lisa and Shauna contributed a stunning veggie tray
and crispy apple crisp. Yum.
Will colored his own place mat.

Sisters, sisters...

Will and uncle "Deeve," as he calls him.

Dave and Shauna. I wanted her to show off her
baby bump, but it is barely visible.
After dinner we skyped with my mom and dad and
then watched the movie. A good time was had by all.
Until next year, Happy Groundhog Day!

Playin'

These freezing winter days have been pretty frustrating for Will (and his mom). Being cooped up inside has given rise to some creative play ideas. Here's the latest: a fort in the living room. Will loved it. He brought all his toys inside and laid on his back and looked up at it. It was fun.

Peek-a-boo!

His new favorite trick: sitting on top of his play garage.

After some good fort time, Will took a red marker and went
to town on his face before I could stop him. His resulting
smile eerily resembled Joker's.
