Happy 4th!

Bring on the sun!! I'm ready.
The 4th parade.  Not bad.
Sitting with Grandma.
Will is crazy about parades....and the candy they throw.

 Barbeque later at Grandma Marshall's
 Jax was tuckered out.

 Gramps was tuckered out too.

Ready for the amazing fireworks show in Grandma's circle.

 Blair, a.k.a. Master of Ceremonies
Sparklers

We could see the big ones from the park.
Good times, great holiday.

24th, the next best July holiday

These are all pictures of the Handcart Days parade.

They did a cool thing this year.  They gathered together over 2,000 young men and
dressed them as if they were Helaman's stripling warriors. It was quite a sight, and I admit,
the whole reason we decided to go to the parade.

Look at Me! I'm 3!!

 Yep, I'm three!
All day he asked me, "Can we have my birthday now?"  Finally the pizza arrived and that got the party started.  He chose pizza, naturally, for his birthday dinner.
Waiting for the present opening to begin.
Close your eyes for Stephanie's present...
Cool!  A fish!  Mom was elated.
 Clothes from Lisa.

 An electric bubble blowing gun!
Grandma Marcella's gift:  a cool magnet book.  Great for church!

Matthew and Jax trying to get in on the action.
 We named the fish "Freddy."

 Ross wanted to help.

 Water shoes!
 A squirt gun!

 Cool card from Grandma Cora!
 Cash!  My favorite.
Opening Great Grandma Newbold's present.  A Jacob's Ladder.
 Look at all these boys!

Opening Grandma and Grandpa Newbold's present: A helmet...which means mayber there is something to go with the helmet?....
 SCORE!!  A bike.  Lightening McQueen.
Letting Matt take a spin first.
 Lookin' so old!
 Thumbs up dude!
 Jax and Lisa
Shauna (suprisingly) showed up from New York!  So awesome to see her and meet baby Ross...
Who loved us all right away. :)
Matthew loves his Grandpa.  He's got great hair for pulling.
 His cheeks!!  Can't get enough.

Now for the CAKE.  Crocodile style.

It took him about 5 tries, but he finally got them out.

The first thing he wanted to eat was the crocodile eye made out of marshmallows.

First thing this kid wanted was the green frosting.  He's no dummy.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!!
