Bear Lake

Sheesh. Sorry it has taken me so long to post these. Our patch cord for our camera broke (someone put it in his mouth and bit it..). Anyway, here are the picks of Bear Lake summer vacation. What fun! There are tons of pics, so I didn't label them all, otherwise it would take forever to read through everything.

Will's hat on dad's head.

"Sand is good for eating too!"

"Land ho!" -Rossuergen (How do you spell it Norb?)

Dad took Will for a ride on the four-wheeler. He was unimpressed, as usual.

Norb introduced us to a cardboard cut out of one of his great great ancestors. The family resemblance to Ross is uncanny.

Too many people in the house to shower? No problem. Shower in the great outdoors!

Is that Graig? Is he alive? One too many boat trips.

Nothing like a little Marshall family meditation, on the beach no less.

Independence Day!!

Here are some pics from the parade we went to on July 4th morning. We went with Blair's family. Will was so entertained, he just sat and stared the whole time.

Will's first piece of parade candy.

I don't want to wear this thing!!

Grandpa working his magic.

Later in the evening, we went to the Marshall's
for a barbeque. After dinner, we had a highly intense
and competitive game of softball.

Ross: "You want a piece of this?"

The teams were clearly stacked. Dave and Graig on the same team?

All the girls.

The dream team members: Blair, Graig, and Grandpa.
Do these faces spell intimidation or what?

Home run Trav!

Lisa, swinging like a rusty gate.

Graig playing with the babies.

Katie watching the kiddies.

Catch it Dave!

Last but definately not least, the spectators.
Larissa, my FAVORITE GERMAN UNCLE NORB, Kathy, and Kailey.

One Year Old!!

Look at me! I'm one! He looked very sporty in his basketball shorts and jersey.

Will with Grandpa. His eyes were fixed on the cake.

It's a tractor. I know, looks more like a monster truck.
(I vowed to never make a birthday cake again after this baby. It took FOREVER.)

Blowing out the candle.

"Finally, I get my first bite of solid sugar!"

"Pretty good, pretty good."

Grandpa: "You gotta try this ice cream Will. It helps to wash down the cake."

Seriously, he couldn't get enough.
Fist-fulls worked the best.

Present time!!
Cool! A fishing pole for the bath tub! Thanks Grandma Newbold!

Dad got him a football, of course.

"Jaw-some" tee from Grandma M.

He loved these sweet shades from Lisa and Steph.

Peek-a-boo!!
